I was never good at studies — or maybe I should say, I never really tried to study. I was always looking for an excuse to escape from books. But as I grew up, I realized that education is not just about degrees or percentages that people show off. It’s about knowledge, awareness, and understanding how the world works. It took me a while, but I finally understood that learning never stops.
I’ve always been an internet surfer. From sneaking into cyber cafes to spending hours scrolling, I saw the internet evolve in front of me. I always knew how things worked, but I never thought I could use that knowledge to actually build something. I spent years using valuable tools and platforms just to pass the time. Looking back, I can’t believe how lazy (and slightly dumb) I was. Well, still am.
For the past year, I’ve been learning digital marketing. I wanted to start five years ago, but somehow, I kept pushing it away — classic me. At one point, regret hit me hard. I felt like I had wasted so many years doing nothing. But then, after months of sulking, I told myself — regret isn’t an option. Learning has no age limit, and I could still start fresh.
So, I finally got serious. I had no structured knowledge of digital marketing, but as I started learning, I realized I already knew a few things — Google Ads, Facebook Ads, writing (which I’m doing now). I just didn’t know the technical terms. After months of learning about digital marketing, SEO, content writing, and WordPress, I decided to actually put my knowledge into action.
And guess what? I created this website! 🎉
I just launched it and posted a few blogs (yes, the same ones from my Medium, but hey, it’s my content!). I know digital marketing and SEO are ongoing learning processes, and I’m still a beginner. But for once, I’m celebrating the small wins — because every step, no matter how tiny, is progress.
So, here’s me, putting myself out there. If nothing else, at least you’ll see how a lazy person like me finally did something productive! Just don’t judge my early work too harshly. We all start somewhere.
